Sunday I watched "Gandhi" for the first time. I knew the history already, and have always been upset by any war... but I cant stop thinking about it. That coupled with a radio lab podcast I listened to on saturday where the topic was, " will there ever be an end to war" The answer seemed to be "NO". I mean you can be as peaceful as fuck and it'll still lead to thousands of deaths.

fall

last couple days have been my favorite weather- rainy and crisp. tops of the trees are getting bald, indicating winter. I've been enjoying fall without the self conscious, " i should really be enjoying this" thoughts.

costume party

last night adams and i started work on our costumes. We were hoping to go to halloween square dance party, but just heard from Brad that his caller backed out, so party might be off.

adams is being that dinosaur in the background. I made a fringy helmet thing- a bear? I dunno, I just wanted to make fringe.

adams and I live 3 seconds from campus which means our neighbors are always 3 seconds from becoming shit-faced, drunk ass d-bags. If i were ever to become some sorta homicidal townie this would definetly be my target neighborhood. first to die: any one who appears to be en route to a house party wearing high heels and gym shorts.

what I did at work this week.

more basement work- clipping the ends off nails, but leaving the heads in, so as not to make holes in the boards so we can reuse them.


after we pulled all the old insulation from the walls we swept it in a pile and blew it back up into the attic and next week we're gonna blow in foam insulation into the outer walls- more energy efficient, i guess. been sneezing all weekend.
